I totally get that FoMoCo tries hard to let the public forget that such a thing as the Mustang II ever existed. Whenever they release press shots of all the 'Stang gens one of them is missing. While I think they would gain more respect if they openly owned up to it, I can understand that. What I don't understand is that they completely left out the fox bodies and then gen after that. Why?
Those cars have very dedicated fans who are turning/have turned/are planning on turning their blue-collar sports car into track monsters. Why piss them off by ignoring the existence of their cars?

They left out the 71-73 style too. I guess their memory is very selective.

It seems they only picked the ones that actually had similar trends or looks. Still stupid because they left out the '69-70 and '71-73. It pisses me off a little more that they left out the Fox Body, one of the most popular and best Mustang gens. out, even if it didn't look the part!
